My name is Nicholas Elliston, and I'm currently enrolled in my final semester as a UI/UX student at West Valley College in Saratoga, CA. Born and raised in the Bay Area, I attended high school at Bellarmine College Preparatory and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015. A few years ago, I discovered UI/UX Design and was drawn to its ability to improve user experiences. I decided to return to school to complete the UX & App Design Certificate program at West Valley College.
My goal for this portfolio is to showcase the skills and experiences I've gained during my time in the program. I plan to demonstrate my ability to create user-centered designs in Adobe XD that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. In addition, I also exhibit other small projects that highlight my proficiency in Photoshop.
Through these projects, I hope to demonstrate my strengths in problem-solving, collaboration, and attention to detail, which I believe are crucial skills for a successful UI/UX designer.
